Glen Thurston
Bass, Vocals
Glen Thurston is a musician with a lifetime of experience holding down the low end, and doing a great job at it too! He's been performing with various groups for most of his life, opening for artists such as Boxcar Willie and Tammy Wynette. He's a man of many talents, and he contributes much to the sound of Blue Lightning.
Avery Perry
Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Banjo, Vocals
Avery Perry does exemplary work providing a platform for the band with his rhythm guitar on "alternative" sets (country, blues, rock), and kicks it into overdrive with his bluegrass banjo work. He too has a lifetime of experience in music to bring to the band, and you couldn't ask for much better.
Marty Price
Dobro, Harmonica
Marty Price stays busy. Between playing the dobro and the harmonica, making pottery, and working at his peach orchard, he expends a lot of energy into the things that he loves to do! And that, of course, includes playing music. He's a fine picker (in more than one aspect!), and while duties at the orchard often keep him busy, he's definitely appreciated when he joins in with the band.
